NYC day 3 - Heading to Canada

October 9, 2012
This morning we decided to take a little walk, in the rain, well, it was a slow drizzle, 27 blocks to the Temple.  You're walking along and all the sudden there is the Angel Moroni.

Did I mention we walked in the rain?  It was a bit chilly!
President Garff was kind enough to let us in the Lobby and chat with us for a few minutes, a nice sister at the information desk took this picture of us and let us walk around the meetinghouse, which looks just like ours, same blue carpeting and etc.
This is a bad picture of Grand Central Station, that's the sad thing about an instant camera, but it is quite an impressive sight.  Wish we would have had more time to look around but we were on a mission to find our bus back to the Newark Airport, so we could get our rental car.  Once we found the bus, I don't even want to talk about how many blocks I walked with my luggage! But we finally made it there, then to the airport, 2 airbuses later and we were at the car rental counter, then on our way to Montreal, we had to make a historical stop along the way...West Point.
