To Mom:
I'm eating way good. Every lunch is with a member. Usually in the morning i'll make a milkshake of banana or with this vitamin rich powder with chocolate flavoring and also yogurt and bread. Sometimes eggs. i'm rarely hungry. Usually i'll eat a way big lunch so i don't need dinner. Usually i'll go without dinner and just eat a little bread. for lunch i eat a bunch of rice and beans, and a lot of meat, so that's where i'm getting my protein and also salad too. Banana's are my main source of fruit. I think i'm getting a pretty even amount of different foods in there. things are going good here. We didn't have a baptism last week. We're thinking we can get two this week. we marked 2 baptisms yesterday. one is a man that wants to be baptized. He's only not sure he'll be ready in two weeks, but he really wants to be baptized because he loves how he feels when we're teaching and also the changes for the better the church is doing for him and his family. We also marked with his daughter. Tomorrow we're going to mark two more, if the investigators read the part in the book of mormon and prayer like they said they would. I've got a great faith in them. They said they'd do those things right after we left. This week we bought 10 liters of ice cream (we put our money together to buy it, only $1.50 per person) but the problem was the refrigerator wasn't functioning really well, so it got way melty during the night. But we fixed it, and had creamy good ice cream again. the other elders also made a pretty good cake. I was impressed :) Things are going really well this week. Hope that your trip with laura and grandma goes good! got the pictures! Love you a lot! talk to you next week. -Andrew
To Dad:
We didn't have a baptism last week, but we marked 2 yesterday, and we hope to mark two or three more tomorrow. We marked one with a dad and his daughter. He wants to be baptized and he really likes the church and what the church is doing for him. He just has to have confidence in himself that he'll be prepared. We're going to also try and mark one more time with the mother of a member. she wanted us to teach her everything, and now she has a firm testimony of the church. Her mom knows these things are true, we think that she only had doubts about the book of mormon, so we invited her to read a part we left, think about that part, and pray. We found out she never completely read, but her daughter read to her... so we'll return this week with a family night and try and mark a date the next day. We had interviews with the president last week. They're always good. He has a lot of knowledge. He was once part of the quorum of the seventy. Have a good one dad, love you, be safe! -Andrew

I think it's cute that he writes two letters. That's commitment.
He also writes a letter to his sister as well.
oh it does a mom good to know her son is eating well!!!
No wonder he's never hungry--it's all that ice cream!
