Christmas Phone Call

The phone call was wonderful. Andrew told us somewhat of his living conditions. Not too great, no hot water for showers and it's been dry there so they are bringing buckets of water to their apartment to shower. He says Manaus is kind of large, but a rather dirty city. The people there are poor and humble. The good thing about that is that they're teachable and they have had some good success. The 45 minutes passed too quickly, we all had a nice visit with him and it was certainly great to hear his voice. He sounds like he is doing well, and all he asked for were a couple church videos in portuguese and a couple of more white shirts. It made Christmas day better!
