Thanks for thinking of me on my b-day! It's been going great here. I just want to make it clear that me and my companion are good, he's just burned out after a year and 6 months in the mission. I understand where he's coming from. Like there's some nights where i'm just so tired and then the rooster crows ( yes there's roosters, and they crow every morning...) and i just think to myself "man, i need more sleep... just a few more hours... please..." but yes rules are rules... 6:30 i leave the bed, tired or not. That's cool that you guys got the mormon doctrine book. I got three letters today which were cool. From the Ryan's, The Brummett's, and Grandma and Grandpa Millett. It was great to hear from them. I laid down in the grass after a blazing hot game of soccer today and read it. If you can give them all a big thanks and hug for me that'd be dang great. So speaking of heat... my companion from the CTM said that it was 127 degrees the other day and probably today is the same because it feels the exactly same... and we walk in it with white shirts, ties, and pants... Got you guys beat. ;) It got a little cold the other day. It's kind of like Dale's email. People have a different interpretation of cold here... they think it's really cold when it's about 60 degrees... but i'm sure it'd be the same way with us in Russia or something. Still haven't changed areas. The new mission thing is throwing things around a bit... we have another conference next week... which means we'll eat great, we'll sit inside an air conditioned room for a few hours, and we'll get some one on one time with the president in interviews. I wonder what'll happen next....
That's cool about Samuel Millett. Hope you find some interesting information on him. Did he play any part in the history of the church or the life of Joseph Smith? and mom are you talking about Mormon Doctrine, or Gospel Doctrine by Joseph Fielding Smith? I read Gospel Doctrine in your letter, don't know if you meant the other. That's cool that Laura's at VB camp. Learn some cool things there. Get fit. Good stuff. that's cool about the parade and all. Those were always fun. Hope Aunt Vesta is better now, that had to hurt.
We ran into, or should i say a man. super elect, stopped us while he almost passed by on a bike, and wanted to talk to us about the church. He said he was reading book the other day and it "awoke and interest inside of him" to seek more about God and what happens after this life. So we invited him to be baptized when God shows him these things are true, he accepted, so we continued with the lesson. Paid a bunch of attention, asked questions, and we're going to return on Thursday to teach him about prophets, great apostasy, joseph smith, book of mormon, and of course, pray to know it's true. Our president lets us baptize whenever we want now, so he could be baptized this sunday, even if it's his first visit in the church... we'll see what happens. We really haven't tried to see the other guy yet. Thanks for reminding me. He went out of the area and kind of fell off the chart. We'll have to see if he's returned back from the treatments.There's two packages for me with my zone leader.... he's had them for 2 weeks now and has seen me like 4-5 times. He forgot to bring them, but maybe he'll bring them to the conference next week. So that's about it for this week, i'll send some pictures too. Hope that everything is going good for you guys. That's funny that you saw the bot fly thing. I thought i had something like that inside of my leg because this mosquito bite was just growing and wasn't going away. and those bot flies come from mosquito bites. But it's pretty much gone away now, so it was just a little scare. Have a good one love you all, thanks for the information about the family and ward! See ya

This is a direct quote from the CTM, so we're not giving it to ourselves, it is directly supported by the people in the CTM. Hard to deny that :) the quote below comes from our first president "Baptize, retain, and establish" it's like a secondary motto for the missionaries.
