More from Elder Millett

To Dad:
that stinks that the cardinals lost. it´d would´ve been great to see that team win the superbowl. that stinks that the trip was boring but at least you got to see something different and get out of the house for a little while. That´s cool that you got to see a part where they filmed men in black. Here was pretty good! We had a mission conference where our mission president came and talked to us, interviewed us, and we ate some great food. we talked to him about our problem with the house. we have 8 missionaries living in one home. soon we´re going to have a division but we don´t know when exactly. i think it´s going to be a little funny, because me and my companion´s area we share with another companionship, so we have to share our references of people we get from the members... but he´s been getting a little greedy and taking them all. but when our area splits we´ll receive all those references in our new area that he´s been working with... so joke´s on him. we had a miracle happen this week too. me and my companion did splits on sunday because we had to bring a lot of people to church, and i walked out to this area about 30 minutes away from the church. when we arrived the investigator took 30 minutes to get ready. because of this we missed the bus that we were planning to take to go to church. we were sitting on the corner with the bus top, wondering what to do feeling a little helpless. i said a little prayer, and following about 10 minutes later, a member that was going to church late, saw us, stopped, asked us if we need a ride and drove us to church. and what was even better was their daughter was already friends with the girl we were bringing to church. The investigator ended up going to church, and with her friend showing her around, she really enjoyed church. we´ll probably invite her to be baptized for next sunday. we also ran into another lady that didn´t have enough time to hear all of our message in her house, but is very smart in religion, and reads the bible alot. she wants to hear more about our church and said without invite that she wants to visit our church on sunday. the only problem is that she kind of wants to do it in secret because her pastor and friends will get worried because they believe it is a sin to learn about other churches. what a great way to retain it´s members, making sure they don´t look around. but we have her number and will probably teach her again this week.
i hope this week goes good for you, that you´re happy to be back from the trip and work goes good for you too. Don´t you have a second trip planned soon? tell me how things go this week, and i´ll talk to you later! love you dad,

To Mom: (Some of the same things but a little different detail.)
...that´s great that danny and zac are getting their calls! i think danny will go to Germany and if stateside, Colorado, and Zac i think will go to some place way cold, like Russia, and if state side, Rhode Island.
...right now there are 8 people living in our house. it´s difficult because we all need to take shower and use the bathroom in the morning to get prepared by a certain time, but it´s very difficult. we will have divisions soon though so that´ll be good. receiving the package was fun. i got a letter from lacey in it saying she was confused why they were sending a valentines package in the beginning of January. it surprised me that i received it a month early too but it was great. loved it. this week i had a little miracle happen. on sunday we had splits to bring our investigators to church. i walked 30 minutes with a member to an area to pick up an investigator, take the bus and go to church. but we missed the bus because the investigator took 30 minutes to get ready. so we were sitting at the bus stop a little helpless so i said a prayer. about 10 minutes after a member that was going late to church saw us, stopped, asked us if we needed a ride and took us to church. i didn´t even think we had members in that area, so it really surprised me. we arrived at church a little late, but she ended up really liking church and wants to go again. we´ll probably invite her to be baptized this week. yah when i have difficulties i just remember after this life, we´ll have a body that will never suffer pain again, and in a state of permanent happiness and great glory. isn´t that interesting to think about? being happier than we ever imagined and it will always be like that, nothing will disrupt it again. so i hope you have a good time this week, that work goes good for ya, and always remember that i love you, and i´ll talk to you next week!
-Love Andrew
