hey family!
so it is the last week. we went to the center, i sold my camera to one of the other missionaries and bought a better one (it was way beat up and rained on..). I also got a few remembrances which was cool. I did buy a carved coconut ring in the center today, i'll try to find another one for Laura. We played soccer this morning. the missionaries are always asking how does it feel to go home next week?? it'd be great to eat at On the Border, because i haven't had mexican food in a long time, but people here really like burgers, beans, and rice, and other salty little snacks. The last time i ate a taco was in Acre a year ago, when we made it with guacamole and everything. as for food, just some frosted flakes, and if you guys want to try what i had for breakfast about 90% of my mission, just get bananas, avacado, sugar, milk, plain oatmeal without flavoring (Quaker or something) and ovalmaltine chocolate. This week we do have a baptism that is progressing really well. He visited church last week and loved it,played soccer with us today. He wrestled my companion in Jiu Jitsu which is like wresting but with a lot more painful holds. we've got family nights and dinners marked every day this week with the members. I've been getting a few little gifts from the members which is cool. Elder Leitch will be heading home with me too. I'm going to florida with him, so he's got a travel partner and then to texas and arizona by myself. that's cool that you guys are studying the book of mormon. have you guys ever read it with the book of mormon institute manual? it explains things with the help of experts in history, science, modern prophets, and with other scriptures.. it takes longer to finish, but the study is much more interesting. sooo... i guess i'll see you guys next week!
love you guys
