"It's been pretty cool this transfer."

hey family!
that's cool that you guys had the missionaries over. maybe i could go around visiting with them after... so we ran into another family that is a lot better i think through a street contact with a man resting after work. The first family we taught seemed to be going extremely well. they had read the part and said they had received an answer from God that it was true so we were pretty excited, but we tried to go back two days ago and we didn't find them at home, so we were heading back to our house or another appointment or something and we ran into the wife and her children. We had this huge difficulty of marking a time to pass.. "hey could we come back a little later and talk more with you guys?"
"umm.. we'll be busy."
"Can we come back tomorrow at the usual time 5:00pm?"
"no, we'll be busy still"
"Are you guys going to travel or something?? um.. how about 6:00pm? 7:00pm??"
"um... let me go" (or "i'm going") and just turned around slowly walked away during the conversation and just left. I was just staring like.. um.... my companion started pulling on my sleeve to go and i'm just like alright...So, there goes one of the families we were teaching, but we still got another one that's a lot more fun, because we joke around more with them. we're going to teach a reference today that already wants to be baptized and it's a man too, so that'll help out the church here. so to answer your questions.. i'm trying to speak with the executive secretary to get my flight plans. i still haven't gotten the card, but i could get it this week or next, because the leaders went to manaus for some leadership meetings. if the executive secretary doesn't call me (because my cell phone can't call to other states and he's in another state) i'll use a payphone and call him today, and email you guys next week.. it's been pretty cool this transfer. there's only 4 missionaries in the house now and every night we make cake, brownies or some dinner. it's been fun to talk to the old members here and i'm going to try and visit a guy we baptized a year ago that hasn't been going to church now this saturday. i'll try to send some pictures... i gotta get my memory card reformatted or something because of the dang viruses on these computers.
