My new companion is Elder Dorneles

Decorations for the World Cup this week.
They have competitions to see who has the most
decorated streets.

When did they say the dry season was coming?

It must be soon, it looks like they're saving all the water they can!

hey family!
This week went well. We did have the baptism of the little sister of one of the men that we baptized. It was really cool too, because, the brother did the baptizing not us :) I would send a photo, but my memory card got stolen, because i left it for half an hour in the internet house when i was looking at photos, and people here just steal steal steal. But it's ok because i already had a second one, i just have to be more careful. we also had transfers this week. I stayed in the same city, i just went to the other side. So now i'll get to know the whoooole city. there was about 3 bday parties that we went to this week, so we got to eat a bunch of cake and drink a bunch of soda. Today is going to be the open house for the new chapel here in the center, so that should give us a lot of opportunities to get some references. The elder that came to take my spot there is elder whitlock, my 3rd to last companion, my last companion in Manaus. we're going to do a musical number for the open house today of A Poor Wayfaring Man and also Lord, I will follow thee, just in portuguese. My new companion is Elder Dorneles. he's from the southwest of brazil and this is his 5th transfer so he's still pretty new in the mission. the apartment that i'm living in now is on the 4th floor, and it's the tallest building in Itacoatiara. So it's got a great view of the whole city. It's been raining pretty hard these past few days here. Supposedly, Itacoatiara is entering into its' dry period. thanks for the photos they were great. It looks like you guys had a fun trip. i tried to send some photos last week, but i'll be sure to send some this week. Thanks for your guys' letters! Love you guys.
Love Andrew
