The water situation is still bleak.

I'm still not sure about the package, i was told i would get another call on it soon. They hold all packages that value over $50 for taxing, so i think it just needs to stay under that number. i think they said i have two packages there, but they only knew that the first one would be $50 dollars to get it out, but they didn't know about the price of the other one, but it should be close to that. i could pay it with my credit card, but then they have to send someone to get and i have to sign some paper... if they ever come out i probably won't see it for another 3-4 months. it's held up in the other mission too, which kind of complicates things. but one day... just maybe i'll hold the long-awaited packages in my hands. we'll see though. we do have 2 baptisms marked for this Sunday, but one of them is in a tight situation, because she made a promise to do like a week of prayer thing in her mom's church and it's during general conference on Sunday. So she's either going to break her promise and go to general conference, or go to the week of prayer... her mom all of a sudden got interested in taking her to her church. We taught and then the girl really liked, had a response that the book of mormon is true, so the mom thinks she's interested in God again. I still haven't run into the mom but, sounds like she's trying to use LDS missionaries to get her daughter to return to some version of the baptist church. That's definitely a new baptist recruiting technique for ya. We've found an apartment, but there are some complications with a contract. So we're planning on breaking the contract due to: Lack of water, rain falling inside the house, paint falling off the walls onto the oven and sink, and also an hour walking from the 2nd area that we're now working in. I did get my allowance, but it was only like... $30 dollars... so i think they just didn't give it to me all at one time... i'll have to check again. The water situation is still bleak. This is the third day straight without any water. but maybe it'll come on randomly during my pday.

happy b-day dad! Hope it went well and you get some good music with your itunes card. Did you already get all the music from that... Jason Reeves guy? I'm not sure what his first name is but i'm pretty sure it ends with Reeves... that stinks that ****** is having a hard time, but at least his companions and zone support. Everyone just made fun of me the whole time with the members. As for instance, lunchtime, "He said pass the FROMANGO! What the heck is FROMANGO?? It's FRANGO!" which means dead chicken, for like eating and stuff. or the classic "payday". "What's that word in english, where on a certain day you receieve money? I'm forgetting my english..." "Oh, it's payday" and everyone laughs. "payday" is like "peidei" which means "I farted," so yah... first transfer in a foreign speaking mission is THE WORST. But after a few months you can communicate your ideas, a few more and you're leading lessons and contacts. I want to learn about all the little words that i know in English to describe things (i.e. tire rims, steering wheel, computer monitor), but you really only pick up less used little words in school, shows, movies, and books. But we only the standard works and Preach my Gospel, so i probably won't get the language as thourough as English until after i get home. that's fun that you guys played rockband! maybe we'll play one day as a four-some in all the parts. You guys have to practice hard though! It was good to hear from you guys again! Have a great week! Love you all! Bye
