Everything's going good here. We had our conference which was fun, where we all received new cellphones with numbers from Manaus instead of Cuiaba. It's got some sweet new ringtones and alarms to wake up to so that's been fun these past couple of days :) The apartment is really good it just is full of mosquitos. there's always one or two that sneak under the mosquito net at night, but i'm just happy about running water in the house. We as in the missionaries forgot to fill up the font two weeks ago, but it all went well, they were all baptized. That's crazy about the talent show activity. We have to plan all the activites in the ward and branch. This Saturday will be halloween dress up dance. One of our investigators is going dress up like Michael Jackson and dance like him too. He's been dancing for a few years and he's got the moves down perfect! Looking at the photos, it seems like all the guys have a bunch of facial hair... is that a new fad there or something? I didn't know Donavan was learning to play the guitar and sing. That's pretty sweet though. If he comes to Brazil, the Brazilians will get a kick out of american music with english lyrics. That would be pretty classic to see the Bishopric lipsinc mormon rap and do the worm. For the christmas package I am needing two white shirts with short sleeves would be good. Also if you could send the triplet set of the Book of Mormon, D&C, and pearl of great price, in SPANISH that'd be pretty dang sweet with some type of spanish teaching thing, in CD or book form. I'm almost getting it down right now, because i'm using my companion's triplet to get the conjugations of the verbs, but i'm having to hunt them all down which is working but a little slowly. But look how much i got so far! Yo soy Elder Millett, estoy serviendo aqui en el Acre, y mi companheiro es Elder Fernandes. It's pretty close to Portuguese, but the conjugations are slightly different. Also, two rechargeable AA batteries and 4 recharageable AAA batteries would be pretty sweet too. Sounds like everyone is doing good there. That'll be fun to dress up for halloween this saturday. I was thinking about dressing up as the "rebellious elder" at the halloween dance. Loosen my tie a bunch, put my placket a little sideways, part of my white shirt untucked... classic :) Well i gotta go now, but i hope everything continues to go good with you guys there. Love you Dad, Mom, and Laura! Have a great week!
