Transferred but still in Rio Branco

To Mom:

That's cool that things are going well there. I hope your trip goes well! Did dad like his father's day presents? This week we almost baptized a lady. All was going well, but on Sunday, the day of her baptizm,... we had to delay. She'll probably be baptized this sunday, she's really excited and everything for it. Also, our transfer fell on today, so I'm to another area, but it'll still be here in Rio Branco, so i'm not going too far. This will be last day with Elder Espenschied, so we're going to make some Mexican food. My new companion will be Elder Sant'anna, who's pretty cool. He's in my zone, so i've already come to know him a little and because he's already in my zone area, it's not a very big or far switch that we're making. This week i've almost finished Jesus the Christ. I'm not gonna lie, it's a pretty massive detailed book. 

I hope everything continues to go well there and that all the trips go safely. Sounds like the family is doing well. Have a good week mom, love you so much! Talk to you next week.

To Dad:

that stinks that the weather is getting way hot there. But after august, it'll all be downhill again right? Hope you guys get some rain there. Here, the rain has let up a lot. It rained pretty hard yesterday, but nowadays it's about 1 every week. Which is good, because the mosquitos are dead, and i don't find random itchy bites. It seems like you and Uncle Jon are going shooting a lot lately. How is that new gun treating you? This week we had a baptism marked for sunday, but .... so yah, basically she just couldn't be baptized, despite all her wanting to. I also found out today that i'm being transferred to another area, still within the city of Rio Branco, where i'm at right now. My companion will be a brazilian, named Elder Sant'anna. I'm not sure if that's how it's spelled but i think it's something like that. i already know him a little bit, because he's been in my zone this past transfer, so i've seen him at two zone conferences, and yesterday when we had a surprised mini zone conference thing.  He should be a pretty cool companion, he seems like a strong, well missionary. Since today is my last day with Elder Espenschied we're going to make some mexican food. Empanadas or something. Should turn out pretty good, i'm excited, because brazilian food is basically the opposite of  mexican food. it's not spicey, and it' almost always wet with some sort of beans or covering, unlike the salty dry tortilla chips, with the salsa. In fact, they like their avacado with sugar, and when we explained what Guacamole is they got a little grossed out. 

 That's cool that you're running and stuff. Is that an everyday thing that you're starting to do, like a workout routine?.Happy father's day dad, hope it went well. Laura and mom were talking about the weird tie, and that's a pretty interesting gift. Did you wear it to church? Get any good comments? It sounds like you're going to have the house to yourself soon.
