HAPPY FOURTEENTH BIRTHDAY, LAURA!

Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky? Laura was born on that day 14 years ago!

Laura was such a joy when she came to our family. She is age 3 1/2 weeks in this photo and is wearing the first dress she wore to church. The booties were made by my Grandmother Griffin.

Age 6 months - I loved putting bows in her hair and she never pulled them out.

Laura was so fun to dress up. She loved frilly dresses and having her hair curled.

She had such a fun imagination and always had imaginary pets and friends. She also wouldn't answer to anything but Dorothy (as in the Wizard of Oz) for over two weeks and made several trips down the hall each day to pour water on the witch, she had to make sure she wasn't alive.

Laura has always loved being outside and though she loved frilly things, never minded getting dirty. That has changed over the years, as well as liking frilly things.

Our family just wouldn't be the same without her!

We're so grateful for the joy she brings into our lives!
