Fourth Of July

No pictures for this one - we celebrated with the Ironsides our neighbors that used to live across the street from us. We had planned on seeing fireworks, but everyone set them off 1 or 2 days early except for the places that were a long drive. So we just went to their home, had subs, salads, chips and etc and played games. Mike got the prize for laughing so hard he did a spit take, I think he blew water out of his nose, but he swears he didn't - glad to know I can still make him laugh!

It was kind of a sad day for Laura because she had strep throat and she didn't get to come, we felt bad leaving her home, but she had a temperature of 102, so we didn't want her to share her germs!

So it was kind of a quiet 4th, but we took the time to think about how blessed we are to live in this free country and how we must protect those freedoms!
