Luke Days - March 19, 2011

Mike decided that we should go to Luke Days and see the air show, so we got up bright and early and headed to Luke Air Force Base. Jon, his son Trevor and my nephew Matthew (David's son) went with us.

Laura and Addi Heap - they are smiling in this picture, but they are not too thrilled to be up this early on a Saturday morning.

Going through security, they confiscated my eye drops, and threw Laura's mints in the trash. They really mean it when they say no outside food. Mike, Matthew, Trevor and a Cobra Helicopter
While the guys were looking at the air craft, Laura and Addi decided to see how many pictures they could have taken with the crews of the air craft.

They made friends where ever they went.

More friends, they have no idea who the lady in this picture is.

It was a rather warm day that day, the air craft were impressive, our favorite part of the airshow was the army parachuters. Seeing these air craft up close, really makes you appreciate those men and women who sacrifice so much to serve our country. We a truly blessed to live in a free country.

We all had a nice time, had a nice lunch at the Cracker Barrel, and then drove home.
