"I was transfered by a 4 hour bus ride to a little city called Itacoatirara."

View of Amazon from Andrew's Apartment

Hey family!
This week was transfers, and my companion will stay one more in Nova Conquista. He'll have 9 months in that area by the end of this transfer. I was transfered by a 4 hour bus ride to a little city called Itacoatirara. It's the smallest city that i've been in yet, so it's really calm and nice. We have air conditioning for when we sleep at night which is also nice. And we also got a great view of the Amazon river. I'll send some pictures here. My new companion is Elder M. Souza, and he's a really big, black calm brazilian in contrast me being a small white guy. He's pretty awesome though. It looks like we'll probably baptize quite a few families this transfer so i'm pretty excited. Also we're going to travel a lot by plane, because we'll go to the zone leader counsel next week, next we'll go to zone conference, and the next we'll fly out and go on splits with missionaries in other little cities outside of Itacoatiara. Maybe we'll take a boat, who knows :) that's cool that Trent got his papers in now. Are you guys still getting a lot of rain? The rain was kind of stopping in Manaus, but today it's raining here. I hear soon that it'll enter into the dry and hot summer season. Speaking of summer season, I talked to President yesterday about when i would go. He looked at when my visa would expire and said that i'll be going home on the 30th of August. Maybe i could get in at EAC or something and finish up my associates degree and maybe head out to BYU next spring or summer semester. that's cool about the new calling as beehive advisor. I think that the advisor callings for the young mens and womens are probably the most fun. Last week, not sure if i told you guys, but i got a cover of Anaconda skin for my triple. It's pretty awesome. My friend got one of monkey skin... but it's pretty smelly. i'll try and send a picture next week, the connection is really slow..

It was great to talk to you guys again. Hope you guys have a great week. Love you guys! Talk to ya next week.
Love, Andrew
