"We are working way hard" and a bonus, pictures!

"This one was at a Birthday Party... I look a little weird but I don't have very many pictures of myself so it'll have to do :)"

"When the car ran out of gas on the way to the airport"

"Elder Leitch and Elder A. Smith. They were my buddies here in Acre and went to Manaus. I wasn't completely ready for the picture, and probably Elder A. Smith wasn't either... haha."

This week was way awesome. We are working way hard, and there just isn't time for anything any more it feels like. We've been working very hard to get a new investigator pool, especially through the members and contacts, and it's been going really well. We went with a member to visit and find some less actives. There's a bunch of less actives, because there's a big problem with retention here in the north of Brazil...  we're "training" the members as it's called here in mission manaus to share the gospel, gaining the confidence by going on splits with the members and already after 1 week, it's giving a lot of great results. Elder Fox is a great missionary and our personalities are pretty similar. We're always joking around, but we're still serious when we need to be. He's from Las Vegas. Our companionship is great! the young lady received a response that the book of mormon is true, but does not want to be baptized. She started crying and everything... we found out from her mom that she's just scared she'll sin after baptism. When she started crying it's clear she wants to be baptized, but Satan works very well with fear.... So we're going to organize a lesson for her...We're meeting a bunch of people that at least say they'll be baptized if God shows this church is true... the pearls go to those that care for them.

That's cool that greg is heading out now. Wish him good luck for me.  I got a letter from Tiffany today. That was pretty cool. It's been a while since i talked to her, and at college i talked to her like everyday. She's pretty excited about the marriage and it looks like they got some great ideas for the present and future. That's cool about the boomerang effect. Maybe in this life, even if we show love and patience to everyone we'll just get anger and scorn, but really we reap what we sow, and there's a reward for all good deeds.

Well, glad to hear from you guys again this week. Hope all goes well with the school, work, family, and friends. Have fun up in Thatcher this weekend! Have a great week, love you guys! Bye
